Swaps and shopping

Ok this is just an update about how excited I am to do my first swaps.

For the March mini swap I sent my partner three tonal minis, some stitch markers, a cute little velvety bag (that I put them in) and a bunch of mini bunnies, cause chocolate is always welcome. It has arrived and it is loved, which made me so so so happy.

Then on Thursday, after a fairly sucky day/week, I got home to find the most amazingly gorgeous package from my partner on a different swap, the Green Swap.

Look at what I got!

15 hexipuffs of awesomeness (I’m making both of my boys beekeepers quilts) and a green project bag (love, love, love),

a yummy hand cream (knitting is awesome but you do get dry hands, cracking and bleeding are not so much fun), the most amazeballs green kitty button (which I’m thinking of using as a bag closure to display its amazingness), apple trolli jelly sweets, kinder bueno eggs, almond ritter chocolate, ginger and lemon grass chai latte,

Happy boys, the little has told everyone that he got a present from Germany

a GORGEOUS card with a super, super sweet note.

On the same day, a couple of things I was waiting for to put into my Green package and Rainbow swap arrived (both are being sent out in the next few days) so I was even more excited!

And to make my week even more better, I spent the day with my mum, my two sisters and the little son on Friday, we shopped, ate and shopped some more, and best of all son number 2 enjoyed it as much as we did!
